Product Description:
Colorex EC Plus is an advanced
technical flooring system specifically designed
to control static discharge in sensitive areas
such as clean rooms, operating theatres and the
electronics industry.
Not only does Colorex EC Plus
provide an advanced technical solution, it is
also aesthetically pleasing, enhancing any commercial
premises.
Colorex EC Plus is a high
performance permanently conductive floor covering
system that consists of loose lay tiles. The tiles
connect to each other using a unique dovetailing
system that remains hidden and are connected to
earth with a copper strip.
It is compliant IEC 61340-4-5
combined with appropriate ESD boot straps from
industrial to educational establishments. It is
a natural phenomenon that anybody can accumulate
an electrostatic charge just by the simple motion
of walking. By wearing the appropriate ESD boot
straps, however, these charges will be securely
drained through the dense network of conductive
veins of Colorex EC Plus.
The unique construction of
Colorex EC Plus is completely free from volatile
chemicals and ensures permanent and stable conductive
performance of the floor over its entire life
time, regardless of changes in humidity and temperature.
Colorex EC Plus contains 15%
post industrial recycled content, is manufactured
using green electricity and is REACH compliant.
Consistent performance is
guaranteed. The electrical resistance of every
single production batch of Colorex EC Plus is
tested and upon request we can provide a report
showing the results.
The honeycomb structure on
the underside of Colorex EC Plus allows damp floors
to be ventilated during use.
Colorex EC Plus is suitable
for applications where expensive preparatory measures
and downtimes are not acceptable, it can be installed
without any interruptions and is immediately accessible.
Specific sub floor treatment or preparation is
not necessary as long as the floor is reasonably
level.
Colorex EC Plus satisfies
the most stringent hygiene regulations and safety
requirements. Its conductive properties allow
you to avoid the negative effects of an accumulation
of static electricity. At the same time, the compact,
pore free surface inhibits bacterial and mould
growth, helping maintain high standards of hygiene.

Ramps for Colorex Plus
In applications where Colorex EC Plus has been
installed as a stand-alone working island or does
not finish at a wall, access ramps are available
in grey or colour matched to the main Colorex
EC Plus tile.
